how brickshare works

01

Choose Your Subscription Plan

Getting started with BrickShare begins by selecting a subscription plan based on the size of the LEGO® sets you’d like to build.

Each plan gives you access to a range of sets within a specific piece-count category, allowing you to choose builds that suit your time, skill level, and interests.

Whether you’re after smaller builds or larger, more detailed projects, there’s a plan designed to match your needs.

Check out our LEGO® set catalogue per scubscription HERE.

02

Choose Your LEGO® Set

Once you’ve joined, you can browse our catalogue and choose an available set within your subscription tier.

Each set includes helpful details such as the piece count, recommended age, and theme, making it easy to find something that suits you.

You can have one set at a time, and you’ll be able to choose your next build once your current set has been returned.

03

Receive Your Set

After selecting your set, it will be delivered to you in durable BrickShare packaging.

Inside, you’ll find all the pieces carefully organised, along with instructions and everything you need to get started.

While original LEGO® boxes are not included to ensure safe and repeated delivery, each set is prepared to arrive clean, complete, and ready to build as if it was brand new.

Enjoy you keep your BrickShare packaging, as this will be the same packaging you use to return the set!

04

Build & Enjoy

From there, you can build at your own pace. You can keep your set for up to 6 months, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the process whether you prefer to build quickly or take your time.

This makes BrickShare perfect for busy families, casual builders, and those tackling larger, more complex sets.

05

Check-In

We will check in with you once you have had the set for five months to see how everything is going.

06

Return Your Set

When you’re ready to move on from your set, or as you approach the end of your 6-month period, you can begin the return process at a time that suits you.

You then break up the completed build into smaller pieces (a full disassembly is not required, as we handle that ourselves) and place them into the  Brickshare packaging.

Cleaning of the sets is also not required, however we ask that the sets are returned free from food, liquids, sticky residue, dirt, or debris.

In your BrickShare package upon arrival, there would have been a pre-paid return label. Place that label over the delivery label and drop the set off at the Post Office or an AusPost collection bin (depending on the size).

07

Return Checks

Once your set has been received, a piece check is conducted to ensure that all pieces are in our possession. This process will vary depending on the size of the set but no more than 24 hours from the date and time that the set is received.

We understand that small pieces can sometimes go missing. If fewer than 25 pieces are lost, there is no charge. However, if more than 25 pieces are missing, a $15 fee may apply. For any rare, special, or unique pieces, a replacement cost may be charged separately.

08

Cleaning (in the background)

Once a set is returned, it goes through a detailed process where the pieces are carefully washed and sanitised using safe, gentle methods designed specifically for LEGO® elements. After cleaning, all pieces are fully dried to ensure they remain in excellent condition.

We then re-sort the set into organised bags, separate minifigures and accessories, and prepare everything so it’s easy and enjoyable to build for the next customer!

09

Next Set Selection

Once your returned set has been received and checked (allow 24 hours) you’ll receive a confirmation via email and SMS letting you know that your next set is ready for selection. From there, you can browse the available sets within your subscription tier and choose your next build. Here, the process starts again!
